NOTICE OF MANUAL AUDIT
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 101.591, the Glades
County Canvassing Board
will convene on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the
Supervisor
of Elections office to randomly choose the precinct to be audited.
Immediately following, the Canvassing Board will meet for the purpose
of
conducting the manual audit of the voting system used in the August 24,
2010
Primary Election, as required by law.
In an effort to better serve you and to encourage
good citizens to
become good voting citizens, we are updating our website to include the
information that is most frequently requested of us by the media, the
public, and our voters.
This site was developed in an
effort to provide local citizens with as much information as possible
about the voting process. Just use the menu on your left to browse
through our site. During local elections, we will also provide
accurate, timely online election results.
We hope you enjoy the
new features we have added to our website and that this site will serve
the citizens of Glades County well. If you have any suggestions as to
how this site can be improved, please let us know. As always, if we can

- Polls are open from 7 am until 7 pm on Election
Day
- Signature and Picture ID are required in order
to vote a regular ballot!

Federal
candidates qualify in Washington, D.C. or Tallahassee on different
dates. For information, call the Division of Elections at (850)
245-6200 or visit their website at http://election.dos.state.fl.us
State
candidates (legislative and judicial) qualify with the Division of
Elections in Tallahassee, all others with their local Supervisor of
Elections.
